My partner, Sherry L. Moore, and I have written three guide books that neatly tie some of our life's passions: "Backroads & Byways of Montana", "Oregon Wine Country: A Great Destination" and "Great Destinations: Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and Jackson Hole." They are a direct result of our ongoing mission to put our day jobs behind us and explore the wild and wonderful world in our backyard. I am the sports editor of the Billings Gazette and also write for Montana Quarterly magazine. Sherry is a school teacher, event coordinator, and has had a variety of jobs in the wine industry. We have three grown children and two grandchildren, and live on the Gallatin River west of Bozeman with our spoiled cat, Hobbs, and a fluctuating population of laying hens.
