Dr. Jeffrey Krug holds the Jack and Vada Reynolds Chair in International Business at Loyola University New Orleans. He received his Ph.D. in international business and strategic management from Indiana University. He earned his M.S. in international business and B.A. in economics from The Pennsylvania State University. Krug is nationally recognized for his research on the effects of mergers and acquisitions (M&As) on target company executive teams. He consults and conducts research on corporate and global strategy, mergers & acquisitions, and the post-merger integration leadership effects of M&As. His research has been published in the Strategic Management Journal, Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, Journal of Business Strategy, Journal of International Management, and Journal of Management & Governance, among other leading journals. He has also authored or edited five books on mergers and acquisitions, international business and globalization, corporate strategy, multinational enterprise theory, and top management teams.He has taught in a variety of executive and international programs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Indiana University, The Pennsylvania State University, Virginia Tech, The College of William & Mary, The University of Memphis, Appalachian State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and University of Műnster in Germany, where he was an adjunct professor of international management from 1999 to 2010. He has received numerous teaching awards and honors and was twice named Outstanding Instructor of the Year by the University of Illinois Executive MBA program.Krug leads seminars on strategy and international business, facilitates strategic planning sessions, and consults on post-merger integration issues. He has worked with more than twenty firms in Europe and the United States.
