Someone once told me that if I enjoyed the "John Dies At The End" series, then I would love Welcome To Night Vale. They were so right! This books was great. Night Vale is such a mess, but in the best way. You just want to see what's going to happen next. And everything that happens is more insane ...

Wowzers! This was so similar and different to the podcast. I had head of Night Vale for quite some time and when I saw the book on sale a while ago, I decided I should find out what it was all about. But it sat on my shelf for and embarrassingly long time. I finally checked out the podcast this ...

I’ve been a fan of the Welcome to Night Vale podcast for a while (although I’m woefully behind at the moment), so I was very excited when this book was first announced. I’ve owned it in two different formats since it first came out in 2015, but I kept putting off reading it because I couldn’t decide...

I started off really enjoying this, but it seemed to drag on. This may be because it takes me so long to listen to audiobooks, so I might not have felt the same way if I had read a printed copy. The lack of a timeline that made sense is what drove this book down to a 3-star rating. It was still fun...

A unique, strange, interesting book taking place in a unique, strange, interesting world. There were a few moments when reading this that I got a bit confused, but I really enjoyed it, and was sad when It was over.

Being a fan of the podcast, of course I was going to check out the novel. And going into the novel, I knew right away that I was going to love it. It's just as weird and engaging and unique as the podcast. I enjoyed every moment of it! I listened to the audiobook with my partner whilst reading alo...

I've no idea how this book works if you're not a fan of the podcast but all I have to say about it is: Puppy! Now I'll have to find out exactly what kind of a puppy it is. This is Night Vale after all.

the narrative flow just works better for me as the "radio station broadcast" format of the podcast instead of a more comprehensive storyline
