Jen Cole is an Aussie primary school teacher who has in recent years begun writing for adults and children. Play or Die, her first novel, was begun in 2007 and completed in 2009. After positive feedback from friends, she made the decision to publish it in 2012. Jen has also written a number of short stories, two of which, Killer App and Swarm, under the pseudonym S. Carey, appear in Penguin Australia's Eerie series. Stories in the Eerie series are being released one per month over 2013.Jen is currently working on her second novel, a science fiction adventure for young adult readers.
