This should probably closer to 3.5 or 3.75, but... well. I read it pretty much straight through, without too many breaks, and found it engaging and well-paced and interesting enough, without getting bogged down by too much backstory, and makes me want to read on in the series, so rounding up to four...
Really enjoyed this book, especially the mythology.
