Jenna Burtenshaw lives in the North East of England, in an old town steeped in railway history. Castles, churches, graveyards and local Victorian architecture gave her inspiration to write dark fantasy stories, as she loves places that hold lifetimes of history within their walls.Jenna is a vegetarian who loves cookery and finding new and interesting recipes. The care and welfare of birds and animals is very important to her. She supports animal charities and often campaigns for animal welfare.In her spare time, Jenna enjoys playing the flute, walking her three dogs, and reading and collecting books (which are slowly overtaking her home).

I was just not feeling this book at all. Maybe this trilogy as a whole was disappointing. Let's just say I found myself skimming near the end.It was a pretty decent premise, but none of the characters were developed enough for me to want to know more of them. I will still be continuing on with the series to see if the story gets more detailed.
