Please visit www.OriginofAlphabet.com.I have researched language for more than three years, read 96 books, am in my second year of formal Mandarin training, and have compared cuneiform, hieroglyphs, Maya glyphs, and Chinese characters--all ancient written scripts--in order to showcase the similarities that exist between them. Writing is a product of man, and man is an animal. Animalistic urges show up all over written language. Comparing the relationship of the shape of the script to the definitions given in various lexicons highlights the prevalence of bilateral symmetry in words related to female mammals. If one perceives language through the lens of evolutionary biology, similarities can be found in the characters of all scripts. The orienting factor is human survival. In the alphabet, "A" represents sharpness and pain in the form of animals with which the alpha male identified. "B" (or really "B/V" because they often swap) represents females and the habitat in which they resided, and "C" (which was really "G" for a long time) is the stick that got the game.
