Jennifer Busick has a degree in industrial hygiene from Purdue University (Boiler up!) and a Master's degree in public health from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!). She has worked as a consultant, conducting health and safety surveys in industries as diverse as metal fabrication, candle-making, and energy utilities. In addition, she has taught health and safety courses and made presentations on subjects ranging from CPR and first aid to lockout/tagout and EPA Title V clean air regulations. Ms. Busick began writing professionally in 1996. She is the editor of the Cal/OSHA Compliance Advisor and a regular contributor to the Safety Compliance Letter, and the author of five regulatory compliance manuals.
