Jennifer Craig was born in Yorkshire, England in 1934. She trained as a nurse at Leeds General Infirmary and then emigrated to Canada in 1961. After a year in Vancouver she worked in California where she met her husband. They returned to Vancouver, built a house and raised two children. In the seventies, she went back to school and earned a BSN, then an MA, then a Ph.D. For ten years she worked as an educational consultant in a medical school. She retired to Nelson, BC where she took a diploma in homeopathy. She is now a grandmother, lives with a bichon frise and spends her time researching a writing. She enjoys writing controversial letters to the editor of the local paper.She is the author of: Yes Sister, No Sister: My Life as a Trainee Nurse in 1950s Yorkshire, Jabs, Jenner and Juggernauts: a Look at Vaccination, and her first novel,Mary Lou's Brew.Her website is: http://www.jennifercraig.net
