A Wind in the Door is the follow up story to one of my favorite books, A Wrinkle in Time. Moving forward in time a couple years, we catch up with Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wallace as they take on another cosmic adventure. This time around, Charles Wallace is very ill, and Meg and Calvin meet new bein...

So this was so much better than I expected. It was slow-paced, but not in a bad way. I very much enjoyed learning each of the characters, even the ones I hated, particuarly Jessie. She was awful. Will was a jerk, and I can very much see the resemblance of Jace to him; reckless, arrogant, and too...

This was a good solid 3.5 stars. As an audiobook, the narrator was wonderful and was able to switch effortlessly between several different accents and voices, and she made me believe the performance. As a story, I enjoyed it and it kept me wanting to listen, but it did take a while to get going and ...

This one failed to engage me at all.I listened and tried and tried to concentrate on the story but it just failed to make me want to listen to it with focus. Thus I hardly know what happened.
