Jennifer Grant is the author of "Love You More," "MOMumental," "Disquiet Time," "Wholehearted Living," and "When Did Everybody Else Get So Old?" With Margot Starbuck, she wrote the e-guide "Writing Nonfiction Book Proposals That Shine." Her first book for children, "Maybe God is Like That Too" releases in February 2017.Grant is a regular contributor to Aleteia/For Her, and she has written for britannica.com, her.meneutics, adoption.com, momitforward.com, and in magazines including Chicago Parent, Draft, MomSense, and Conscious Choice. For more than a decade, she wrote features, restaurant profiles, and general interest and family life columns for Sun-Times Media newspapers. She also was a health and family columnist for the Chicago Tribune. Grant is a part of Hope Through Healing Hands’ Faith-based Coalition for Healthy Mothers and Children Worldwide. Grant is a promiscuous reader who (usually) finishes what she starts, and is just as likely to be found reading "Dinosaur Bob" as "Kate Chopin." She received her Masters degree in English literature with concentrations in fiction writing and critical theory from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She lives in the Chicago area with people and creatures she adores: her husband David, four children (when her sons are home from college), and two rescue mutts (Shiloh, who is wise and long-suffering, and Scarlett, who likes to herd others, hoard dog toys, and eat ice cubes.) She spends her days writing, editing manuscripts for writers and publishers, and staring at the birds who frequent her backyard feeder.Find her online at jennifergrant.com or on Twitter @jennifercgrant.
