Poor storytelling, too much message-sending, bland characters, unbelievable and predictable settings and situations, unreadable short stories that no teen will find appealing. Sorry, I did not enjoy this at all and I don't think teens will either.

I will keep it short, this book was good. There were some parts that weren't that good (mostly had to do with Julia and her attitude). I loved the rest of the book though, the secret relationship, the after effects when someone you care about dies and then how to continue with life. How to live, how...

"Until It Hurts to Stop" is a decent enough story by Jennifer Hubbard. I liked the slice of life style of the narrative and the honesty of the protagonist, but what I think makes or breaks this novel is whether or not you can see how the main character grows within her experiences. Maggie is a young...

First and foremost, don't judge a book by its cover. The book may look like a cover for a romance book, but I'll have to assure you that it's not a book with a romance theme. (well maybe there's a hint of romance of romance in it. but it's not the major premise)So what is it all about? Suicide.Suicid...

The Secret Year was a book that had been on my wish list for quite some time so when a friend gave me her book to borrow I was quite ecstatic. This book was just alright for me. I liked Ryan & Nikki, but I really disliked Ryan's mom. I really want to slap her. What kind of mother makes fun of another child? The whole scene were they're eating dinner and she's going on and on about Nikki's teeth and then makes faces pretending to be Nikki w...

I LOVE THIS BOOK! It captured the very essence of that time when you are a teenager. Coming into your own. But it blended very well with a very much "grown up" topic and unthinkable tragedy. The fact that it's told through first person, and it's a young man Colt, who is telling his story, the fact t...

Colt was with julia for a year, but nobody else knew about it. Julia lived on Black Mountain Road in a mansion with servents and had a country club boyfriend to compleat the package. Colt definitely didn't come from Black Mountain, and no one would have understood why they were togeather. But it nev...

Alrighty... This book reminded me a bit of [b:Looking for Alaska|99561|Looking for Alaska|John Green|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41DW9GX92PL._SL75_.jpg|919292] by John Green, but I think it fell quite a bit short of the standard that Alaska set. I couldn't really connect with or care about...
