I'm a stay at home mom to two of the BEST kids in the world. I have a wonderful, loving, supportive husband. I am also mommy to three Labrador Retrievers. I worked as a Civil Engineer for over four years before I was laid off. When I couldn't find a new job, I used my creative juices to open my own bakery. I owned my bakery for about two years, before I made the decision to be home more for my family, especially with a new baby on the way.I entered the reading scene much later in life than most. I didn't enjoy reading for entertainment until I went to college. With all of the summer reading lists and school reading lists, the LAST thing I wanted to do for fun was read. But, college has a way of opening you up to new ideas and experiences. After being introduced to new books that were more suited for my interests, I finally found a new love of reading. I usually have my nose in a book whenever I have a "me" moment.With this love of reading, a new interest reared its head, creating stories of my own. I'm always creating stories in my head, whether it's in the shower, out driving somewhere, lying in bed trying to fall asleep, pretty much anywhere. One day I decided to put one of these stories down on paper. I have started and stopped several stories, but now I'm ready to take the next step. I am completing my first novel as we speak.My debut story releases December 1st, which is part of the anthology Unwrapping Love with twenty other authors.
