Anthology. I'm kind of (90%) over vampire books but there are a few authors that I love so I'm going to pick and choose what I want to read. I don't usually do this and try to give every story a try but like I said, I'm kind of done with vampires.I only read a few of the stories and I think overall ...

A sweet twist on the Grinch scenario. Gordon bottles up his anger and resentment along with loneliness and pain to the point where his bitterness overshadows everything that has importance in his life. Holly is the optimist that turns his life upside down and pulls him kicking and screaming into the...

You can never go wrong with St.Giles, she is the most fabulous writer and every single one of her books is special and fantastic. Her plots and characters are always fresh and they always manage to complete your need for an absolutely perfect read.

As a note, I did read the first of the series, which I had totally forgotten about. Here's my review of the Mistress of Trevelyan at Booklikes. I (apparently) liked this book a whole lot more than I did the first book. Juliet Boucheron is a widowed (probably) woman in post-Civil-War New Orleans...

This review will appear on 10/12 at https://romantichistoricallovers.wordpress.com/I happened to be lucky enough to pick this wonderful book up for free. And what a wonderful surprise! I quickly found myself immersed in a post-civil war New Orleans filled with hardship, mystery, romance, passion and...

This book was borrowed specifically for Jaye Wells' Vampsploitation. This is a pretty good collection of different authors. Some of them I recognized and others which were new to me. I'm only going to mention the ones that really stood out and I enjoyed. The Murder King's Woman by Jamie Leigh Hans...

I've only read Jaye Wells story as of yet and that's what the rating reflects.I really enjoyed the SS. It was fast paced and gave a small taste of Sabina's life.

I really enjoyed this book and was a great introduction to several authors I had not read before. As with all anthologies there are bad stories but the majority are excellent. A fast read for when you want a new story but do not have time to get into a new book.

This is one of the most consistently good anthologies I've read in a long time. There's not a single dud among these stories and I love the unique takes on vampire lore. Every one of these stories breaks out of the familiar vampire trope and explores some rather interesting new ideas. I say that the...
