Jenny Jägerfeld is a professional psychologist with experience of adult and young adult psychiatric care. She has also studied literature, philosophy and sexology, and has had a variety of weird jobs such as video teacher, karaoke waitress in Spain and putting the tags on clothes in a second hand shop in Berling. She also has a yellow belt in karate and a diving certificate.She made her literary debut in 2006 with Hål i huvudet (A hole in the head), and already her second novel, Me on the Floor, Bleeding was rewarded with the prestigious August Prize for Best Youth Novel in Sweden. Me on the Floor Bleeding is released in ten different countries. Jägerfelds third novel Jag är ju så jävla easy going (I am just sooo easy going) was released in october 2013 in Sweden and immediately got brilliant reviews.Jenny Jägerfeld also works with consulting young adults in a long-running psychology program on Swedish national TV and appears often in radio, newspapers and magazines. Me on the Floor, Bleeding is her first novel translated into English.
