Jerald E. Pinto, CFA, is Director, Curriculum Projects in the Education Division at CFA Institute. His investments research has been published in the J. of Portfolio Management and other outlets. Prior to joining CFA Institute, he worked for nearly two decades in New York City’s investment and banking industries, including a final stint as a consultant. He was an assistant professor of finance at NYU’s Stern School in 1992−4, where he taught investments and financial institution management. He holds an MBA from Baruch College and an MPhil and PhD in Finance (minor: Statistics) from NYU. Mr. Pinto is a member of CFA Virginia.
