I attended Catholic school as a girl. And I mean real, old fashioned, Catholic school, where knuckles were rapped and the teachers were feared and yet mercilessly pranked. When I was a teenager, I read the Bible for myself, came to believe in Justification by faith, and became thoroughly Protestant in my beliefs. I enjoy church history, especially the history of the Reformation. The other great love of my life was, and still is, martial arts. Shortly after I graduated from college, I earned my black belt, and currently I am a fourth degree black belt. For me, writing fiction was an escape at first. Then, as I grew older, fiction became a means to entertain other people while also framing certain ideas to them in a unique way. I write both fiction and non-fiction books. My novel VALKYRIES was nominated for the Christy Award.
