This is one of those books that make you wonder why can't you give it a rating of 6 stars or more. I liked it that much. It wasn't such a quick read, so I spent a lot of time with the characters in this novel. Can't wait to read the sequel.
I really enjoyed this book, and a good bit of that was because both Syd and Maddie came across as being three dimensional characters. Syd is dealing with a failed marriage and trying to figure out what happens next in her life. As a result, she takes a temporary (18 month) job setting up a library...
