JESSICA HARTJessica's earlier career was a haphazard one, including stints as foreign newsdesk secretary in London, cook on an Australian outback cattle station, TEFL teacher in Jakarta and interpreter on expedition in Cameroon. She first stumbled into writing as a way of funding a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies, and since then she has written 59 books for Harlequin Mills & Boon's Romance/RIVA series. A multiple finalist and past winner of both a RITA (Christmas Eve Marriage, Best Traditional Romance 2005) and the UK's coveted Romance Prize (now the RoNA Rose Award), Jessica was awarded the National Readers' Choice Award (Traditional category) for her 50th book, Last-Minute Proposal, in 2009 and again in 2010 for Cinderella's Wedding Wish. Jessica lives in York, a historic city in the north of England, and also writes 'time slip' novels as Pamela Hartshorne. The main characters had great chemistry ...

I think I just found a contender for 2014's Best Category Romance. Mr. (Not Quite) Perfect mixes lighthearted romantic comedy and emotional angst almost perfectly to create a story that held my attention from beginning to end. Not many books will manage to both make me laugh out loud and get teary, ...

Review Posted on HarlequinJunkie.comMax is still a little stunned by the abrupt way his ex dumped him. They were perfect for each other, but apparently she needed to be swept off her feet. She didn’t cheat on him, but definitely got ‘swept away’ from their relationship. So he retreats to his sisters...

A cute story. This book could have been very angsty based on the plotline and series of misunderstanding and unfortunate events, but it wasn't. I never lost fate in Seth and I adored Daisy. Thank you Leona for the recommendation.
