Ted Kooser chose one of the poems in it, "Superhero Pregnant Woman," for his American Life in Poetry column. Another poem, "Why I Had Children" from Injecting Dreams into Cows, appeared on the side of a street-cleansing truck in Australia as part of the 2013 Sydney Writers Festival. Randall is the Curator of Special Collections at Colorado College and lives in Colorado Springs with her family.
