Note: I haven't seen all of the Invader Zim show. (I got turned away from watching them on TV here, because they were horrendously Dutch dubbed. *shivers*) But I know the gist and Zim was a favourite character for quite some time, even with me not watching the show. Also even if I didn't this comic ...
Some are just funny, some are political or social vehicles, and some are thought provoking or sad. But all are rather unique takes on characters, some of which are one page long, some a few pages longer. Some are word heavy while others use art more than the written word to convey their message....
If this is the issue in which Johnny visits heaven and hell, hell looks like California, but emptier, and heaven is a dump full of zombies. Check it out.
While the Squee stories are fantastic and true to JTHM, the extra shots feel out-of-place away from the JHTM books and would have been much better suited to the JTHM trade paperback.
