This was a pretty good children's history of Qin Shi Huang. It includes facts and questions at the end. Really nice.

Malcolm le Farouche felt his blood race at the thought. Yet, was rage or passion the reason? He knew only that though Elinore of Evenbough would share his bed by royal command, the warrior-trained beauty was not to be trusted...with his life or his heart! Le Farouche—"the Fierce." The epithet added ...

This was a sweet read. I actually finished it a couple of weeks ago, but having a baby slowed me down a bit on reviewing. :)The basic plot of the story is this - Heroine suffers a miscarriage, after which her husband sets her aside and she returns home to live with her mother and stepfather. A short and quick read that I picked up for free. I would have loved for it to have been longer as I really liked all of the characters but I was really impressed with how it handled the difficult topic of domestic abuse. I will definitely be checking out Jillian Hart's other work!

I loved this book! Two awesome authors coming together once again to bring us back in to the past. I got totally lost in the stories of Christina and Annabelle. Both are mail order brides who think their lives will be very good once they get to their destinations. It's two separate stories but the t...

Let me start by saying I wanted to like this book... I really did but it was a bit of a letdown. Millie left Montana rather abruptly 10 years ago due to some issues with her father and the love of her life abruptly dumping her when she started asking him about marriage, kids and a future. She is ...
