I am an author and presenter. It runs in my blood. Both of my brothers are published authors, as is my son. Each of us has his own style and topic. Mine is education and leadership. Having been a teacher, principal, and superintendent in the public schools of Illinois, I have been fortunate to have gained a lifetime of experiences working with students, parents, teachers, board members, taxpayers and support staff. I have taken those experiences and blended them with their best advice when writing books for teachers and school leaders. My latest book focuses on the "Art of School Boarding" and is an excellent resource for practicing and prospective school boarders. Along the way I have been named an outstanding administrator and teacher several times, but honestly I was only as good as those who shared their best talents with me. My goal is to turn that fortune around and share it with my readers. I also speak and teach throughout the United States, hoping to inspire and encourage many to make a difference for our kids.I hope you enjoy my books and hopefully we can meet in person one day so that I can learn from you.
