I read this as background for my history thesis, I didn't expect a rip-roaring time. Even considering Curtis wrote this in 1986 and he was likely a very old man, there's no excusing his dismissal of all punk music but Blondie. Not saying anything about any bands formed after 1981 certainly didn't he...
