Jitendra Singh is the Saul P. Steinberg Professor of Management at the Wharton School, where he previously served as Vice Dean for International Academic Affairs. From 2007 to 2009, he was Dean and Shaw Foundation Chair Professor of Strategy, Management and Organization at the Nanyang Business School of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He holds an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a PhD from Stanford University.His earlier research has focused on evolutionary approaches to strategy and organization, organizational change, business process outsourcing, and the Indian software services sector. He has coauthored several books, including Emerging Multinationals in Emerging Markets, and he has served on the boards of several companies, from established firms to start-ups, including Infosys Technologies and Emcure Pharmaceuticals in India and, more recently, SPRING Singapore. He also has been on the board of governors of SAFTI Military Institute in Singapore.
