Jo Ann grew up addicted to Nancy Drew mysteries and cryptoquotes. She loves beachcombing and playing tourist. The people and places around her are a treasure trove of ideas. Jo Ann's middle reader children's novel, The Fossil Hunter of Sydney Mines, is a Canadian children's bestseller, and was released in the U.S. Oct 1, 2010. Her next children's novel, Lost on Brier Island, is being released in May, 2011. Jo Ann lives in Halifax with her husband, James, where she writes mysteries and other stories on her yellow laptop, Bumble Bee.
