Joachim Müller, a national of Germany, has being working with the United Nations system for 25 years in New York, Vienna, Geneva and Namibia and is currently Director, Resource Management. He has written extensively on United Nations reform and management, including "The Challenge of Working Together" (2010), "The Struggle for Legitimacy and Effectiveness" (2006), "The Quiet Revolution" (2001) and "New Initiatives and Past Efforts" (1997). He is editor of the "Annual Review of United Nations Affairs" and holds a doctorate (D.Phil.) from Oxford University, Nuffield College, in Economics and Management Studies.
