I don't think the person who wrote the blurb used here understood the book. It is not like Goldilocks. The kids are not having scary misadventures. They do not learn a lesson. I liked Mice and Beans, I thought it was really cute. My niece and nephew thought it was, and I quote my niece, "kind of boring." Hm. Ok then.
