Great short zombie stories. Dark and rotting like a zombie should be. I enjoyed them and will read more from this author.

All of these stories really worked within the context of the shared-world theme of Limbus Inc., save one and even that one was not bad, just not my cup o tea. (and no, I’m not going to tell you which one) Still overall, a very entertaining and well written collection with some of today’s top authors...

The follow-up to Pandemic sees Stephen Knight take the major reigns from Craig DiLouie and have to guide the reader through the often difficult second-book in a series. Straight off, the best part of Slaughterhouse is how authentic it feels. Not the infected people who laugh like hyenas while they'r...

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review. Seize the Night is a straight up vampire book. I think there is a bit of something within each story that someone is going to enjoy. So if you don't like one story don't give up just give another story a try. I love anthologies and the wa...

Recently there was a series of graphic novels that totally emphasised the "graphic" part of that term entitled Crossed, Vol. 1. It was originally conceived and written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Jacen Borrows. In it, an infection did the rounds turning people into maniacs who killed and slaughtered...

After enjoying the hell out of the first book in this series, Domain of the Dead - so much so that it made my top 10 horror reads of 2013 - I'd long been looking forward to reading this sequel. Weirdly, I sometimes like to delay gratification, so Remains of the Dead kept slipping down to #10-15 on m...

*Review for the audiobook version*Man this was a crazy f’d up ride. Pretty much nonstop violence and action amid a backdrop of the zombie apocalypse. I thought there was going to be a lot more of the zombie thing going on here, but it is really a classic revenge horror/noir story and the zombies are...

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review. I actually thought I downloaded this book via NetGalley but it must not have went through so I bought the book instead as it was archived before I got to it. This is a book that I think the teenagers and YA will enjoy. They are random sh...

The good, the bad and the omg it's over I'm going to go cry me a zombie river. The good. I loved listening to this series. And I guess this is the 'end' of that world. It started with a hurricane carrying zombie cooties. It drifted into zombie who could swim! How do we top that? Jump 8 years late...
