John Bennett is a legend in the alternative press. He came on the scene in the Sixties with his novel The Adventures of Achilles Jones and the founding of Vagabond Press in Munich, Germany. He has received high praise from authors as diverse as Saul Bellow, Charles Bukowski and Tom Robbins. Bellow said: "I knew there had to be a human way to write about these subjects.
