John is a visionary with a track record of anticipating future business trends, bringing them into reality through courage, intelligence and self belief whilst inspiring others to follow through building high trust, collaborative relationships. After starting his career in retail management and gaining an MBA, John retrained via an MSc in IT to pioneer the implementation of SAP software across Europe. He became Consulting Director of one of the fastest growing UK private companies of the nineties, Team121 which was sold to Logica in 1999 for £86m. John then became International Managing Director in Logica, responsible for the £400m per annum global industrial business. However, he was soon retraining once more to become one of the early PCC credentialed executive coaches in the UK with the International Coach Federation. Logica appointed John to the role of Director of Coaching - the first such role in a FTSE250 company and he went on to co-found coaching practise 121partners with Olympic medallist and sports coach, Bill Barry - working with Board level leaders at companies such as British Airways, Jones Lang LaSalle, the BBC, FSA and Kelloggs. John is now anticipating a fundamental shift in corporate leadership behaviours in the next five years to meet the expectations of the next generation of business stakeholders. He is re-focussing his efforts to write, speak and research on this topic whilst coaching a small number of Board level leaders who share his commitment to this vision.
