John Claude Smith is a writer of dark speculative fiction, everything from hardcore horror to magic realism, weird fiction, and a few unknown off-ramps along the way. He has had two collections published, The Dark is Light Enough for Me and Autumn in the Abyss, as well as three limited edition chapbooks: Dandelions, Vox Terrae, and The Anti-Everything. His debut novel, Riding the Centipede, was published in June of 2015 and was a finalist for a Bram Stoker Award in the Superior Achievement in a First Novel category.
