Loved it! This book really sets the stage for me for this series. At this point the supernatural parts become much louder in my head. The link back to other cases here’s great too. We have a changed Angel (I can see why) and Charlie realizing that sometimes certain people just don’t deserve to live....

Wow. This was ridiculously good. We have more of the supernatural elements I like. I have to say though this book is hard to get through if you don’t like spiders. “The Killing Kind” has Charlie taking up a case from an ex Senator. A daughter of a long ago friend ended up dead, but though the poli...

Wow. Not too much to say. Connolly breathes life into a detective story with the strong supernatural elements. I loved Charlie Parker and his quest for not only redemption, but to help the dead find peace. “Dark Hollow” follows Charlie after the events of the first book. He found out who murdered ...

I do have to say though that parts of it dragged, (why I gave it 5 stars and did not favorite it) and I totally figured out who the serial killer was at 30 percent which was a slight letdown sinc...

I struggled between giving this book three or four stars. It was inventive and imaginative. The pacing was excellent and I gobbled it up in only a couple of days in spite of having to work my full time job and read around a couple of baseball games. And yet... it was oddly emotionless reading. Enter...

I don't even know what to say. This book will break your heart, make you shudder in fright, and have you widening your eyes over how Connolly changes up some of our favorite fairy tales and myths. I thought this book was great from beginning to end and I worried throughout about would happen to Davi...

I´m not going to say too much about The White Road, since it´s the fourth book in a series and I would probably spoil plot points if I do so. The only thing I´m going to say is that I liked the third book, The Killing Kind, better than this one. But since The White Road is the continuation of The Ki...
