John G. Jones -- New York Times/worldwide bestselling author/screenwriter/film & TV producer and musician -- was born in Sydney, Australia. Lead singer in numerous rock groups, he wrote, produced and arranged many of the songs performed by those groups. After touring Australia, England, and Europe, John traveled to America to pursue his other great love: writing. His book, Amityville Horror II - his first in a series on the infamous haunting -- made the New York Times Bestseller List the week of its release and similar lists around the world soon after. Other successful books followed: Amityville Horror III, Amityville: The Evil Escapes, Amityville: The Horror Returns, and The Supernatural. John's total worldwide book sales, to date, number in the millions. Christmas in Amityville: Silent Night, an e-book novella, is now available exclusively on Amazon. His future slate of releases includes a number of other new books in the Amityville Series, and his next novel, available now, is Amityville Now: The Jones Journal, based on his true, horrific experiences during the research and writing of the Amityville books. Later in 2014 John will also release his novel, Amityville Horror: The Sequel, the continuing true story of George and Kathy Lutz, chronicling the terrifying events that plagued them after they fled the infamous Amityville house. Negotiations are already underway for a TV series based on John's experiences, and he is in talks for the theatrical release of a major motion picture based on Amityville Horror: The Sequel. John, like his famous compatriot, Peter Allen, 'still calls Australia home', but these days he shares his time between Sydney, Los Angeles and his holiday home in Mexico.
