John Kenny has been a firefighter since 1989. It was perhaps karma, having accidently accidentally set fire to his parents' house when he was seventeen, while making French fries. John lives outside Ottawa, Canada with his wife Liz. The Spark is his first novel. When not running into burning buildings he is an avid sailor, enthusiastic traveler and mediocre hockey player.

Ok the only reason I requested this was to read the first few chapters of the Diviners by Libba Bray....but there were alot of other sneak peaks in here that I found very interesting and now I have a ton more book on hold at the library...great... :)
