Throughout life, John Otis Biggs has lived in eleven or so different states, all east of the Mississippi River. Over the years, John has been a landscaper, a farm hand, a nuclear plant technician, a submariner, a technical instructor, a rocket systems supervisor, a steel plant technician, a maintenance coordinator, a manager, and a writer. He was educated by the United States Navy, Hillsborough Community College, and the University of South Florida.John, his wife Eleonora, and three children, have a fortunate life near the Gulf of Mexico in southern Alabama. They like to ride bikes at the beach and build sand castles under the warm summer sun. In the winter, they occasionally escape to Eleonora's home country of Argentina for family, facturas, and a few weeks of sunshine. In his spare time, John enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and beach volleyball; his days of rugby and American football are behind him. When not playing sports, he can be found coaching youth teams or following University of South Florida sports. On a rainy day, John passes the time with books, movies, music, and board games.
