Jack Martin is the co-author of Pre-Apprentice Training: A Test Preparation Manual for The Skilled Trades and Pre-Apprentice Training: A Practice Test Manual For The Skilled Trades. His first book was origionally written in 1968 and after six revisions is still in use today. Jack, as a former Teacher, counselor and consutant, is interested in helping students prepare for and become gainfully employed. Although retired, he regularly presents to educator and employer groups about the benefits and career opportunities available through apprenticeship and working as a skilled trades person. Jack was recently awarded a certificate of Meritorious Service by the US Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship, for 50 years of service to the National Apprenticeship System.
