I loved this book. It is heart-wrenching, yet powerful and heart warming all in one!
This is a really nice story for children. It seemed quite predictable at first. But the end really surprised me and also made me cry.
I absolutely loved this book as a kid. It was subject to many rereads. In fact, I may very well need to pick it up again now.
Read this aloud with my son. He had to take over, since I cried my eyes out. Great story.
