I was given a copy of this book in the Goodreads giveaway in exchange for an honest review. I could not get into this book at all I really did but I did not find it at all engaging.

Halfway through and just couldn't bring myself to waste any more time with it. The Author has a way with words which was beautiful but the story was dull and going nowhere.
The descriptions of Will's visions during his decompensations were visually impressive and really gripping. I didn't find that to be true for the story with the cop and his mother though, and the ending was a let down. As a result, I felt let down by those aspects of the story.
