His poetry collections include THE TRANSLATOR'S DIARY, winner of the 2007 Green Rose Prize for Poetry, and BIRTHMARK, winner of the 2003 Crab Orchard Award Series in Poetry Open Competition. His third poetry collection LITTLE ANODYNES was recently selected by Nikky Finney, winner of the National Book Award, for the Palmetto Poetry Series and will be published in March 2015. He teaches at the University of Mary Washington.
