Jonan is an educational professional. He has seventeen years of teaching experience and has taught online courses in education and technology, as well as built hundreds of courses as an instructional designer. He is also the co-author of Massively Open: How Massive Open Online Courses Changed the World. His specialties include digital portfolios, open culture learning, and best practices in online course design. His work has been published and has presented at many conferences on the topics of constructionism in learning and digital portfolios. He is currently experimenting with designing courses in which students create artifacts of learning which they publish for a larger audience.
