Jonathan Krasner is a professor of American Jewish history and education at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. His book, "The Benderly Boys and American Jewish Education" is the winner of a 2011 National Jewish Book Award and a finalist for the 2012 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature. Jonathan received his Ph.D. from Brandeis University in 2002. He lives with his partner and two children in Andover, Massachusetts.
