Jonathan Penner is the author of Going Blind and Natural Order (novels); Private Parties and This Is My Voice (story collections); and The Intelligent Traveler's Guide to Chiribosco (novella). His stories have appeared in Harper's and Paris Review, his essays and reviews in The New York Times and The New Republic. He received the Drue Heinz Literature Prize, and has held Guggenheim, Fulbright, and National Endowment for the Arts fellowships. He lives in Tucson and Portland.
