I found this quite surprising. It was a strange tale and told well. There were parts were the story just rambled and certain bits could have been left out. But it was a good read and a great start to what could be a great series

I found this a little muddled at times, especially towards the end of the novel. That said, the characters are well drawn, the world building is solid, the idea inventive, the wordplay quite funny, and the ideas interesting. I do wish the plot had been a little tighter. Still, enjoyable.
