Joseph D'Agnese is an award-winning journalist who has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and many other publications. His science writing was twice named to the anthology, Best American Science Writing (HarperCollins). His crime fiction has appeared in Shotgun Honey, Beat to a Pulp, Plots With Guns and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine. He's a 2015 winner of the Derringer Award for short mystery fiction. Bestselling author James Patterson has selected one of D'Agnese's stories for inclusion in the prestigious Best American Science Writing 2015 anthology.D'Agnese co-authored "Signing Their Lives Away: The Fame & Misfortune of the Men Who Signed the Declaration of Independence" (Quirk) and "The Money Book for Freelancers" (Random House).
