I grew up in Newark, New Jersey, where I worked as an artist and draftsman. My current profession involves preserving historic documents, which is ironic since when I write I do just the opposite. I pull apart the classics and reassemble them in simpler format. I know how to make complicated stuff simple, so that’s what I do. If you want to know what Shakespeare was saying between the lines, or read Dante’s Inferno without having to go through hell to do it, I’m your man.
