Joshua Cooley is a children's ministry director, freelance writer and a former fulltime sports writer/editor at various newspapers in Maryland. His latest book, Heroes of the Bible Devotional (Tyndale House Publishers), came out in March 2014. He has also co-authored two other books: Playing With Purpose: Inside the Lives and Faith of the Major Leagues' Top Players (Barbour Publishing, 2012) and The One-Year Sports Devotions For Kids (Tyndale, 2011).
