Jude Johnson is a writer with a passion for historical research, details, and languages. The smell of parchment, old leather, and glue bindings makes her giddy. It is her attention to accuracy that infuses her stories with authenticity, letting the reader step into those dusty streets of Tombstone or onto the pitching deck of a frigate of Nelson's Navy. She has studied Welsh, speaks bad border Spanish, and loves learning new words to yell while driving through construction zones. She is a member of Gecko Gals Ink, a fabulous group of five authors in Tucson who are "differently expertised." She lives in Tucson with her long-suffering family who have endured many charred meals while she's in a writing frenzy.
