Judith Condon was born in Waterloo, Iowa in 1949. Daughter of Donna Driscoll and James Condon, she and younger sister, Mary, grew up in a large, extended Irish American family.The Irish are famous for storytelling and Judy was exposed to many of the family tales. Her father, Jim, died in 1963, at age 36, and with that experience began a life long quest to discover and learn about her ancestral roots and the shoulders upon which she would eventually stand.She received her teaching degree and taught for several years, then moved into chaplaincy and social work, receiving a master's degree in pastoral care.Judith has written over these many years but has just begun to publish her work. She currently resides in Minneapolis, MN.
