This is the PERFECT summer read.In The Summer Time isn't too heavy, but it's not light and fluffy. It's got a serious side to it, as well as the traditional capers you'd expect. This book had me laughing out loud while trying not to cry. I was reminded of teenage summers and boy-troubles and Cold Fee...
pretty predictable story about a woman worrying about her long-absent cousin's return and creeping weight issues.
Did you ever really want to read a book, then only to be a little disappointed by it? I felt a little let down after reading this one. It was a decent "older" chick lit story, but for some reason it fell a little flat for me.
